At Sak Yant Chiang Mai, we have been striving to offer this wonderfully unique service of getting a 100% Real Sak Yant Tattoo for less than the price of obtaining a Sak Yant Design from a regular Tattoo artist.
The Sak Yant Pricing Details
The In-House Option: $2000 Baht when pre-booked
We started the In-House option when we opened our store in October 2016. Here we have visiting Monks and Ajarns come into our old city store location and spend the day providing the Sak Yant Tattoo and magical blessing in our own scared Sak Yant Room.
This service we offer 6 days a week from 2 different Rooms
Eak Monk: Monday & Thursday
Rung Monk: Saturday
Ajarn Amnat: Wednesday & Friday
Ajarn K: Tuesday
Ajarn K: Saturday
Ajarn Sam: Monday and Thursday
Here the pricing is simple. Total cost for a typical Sak Yant (see bottom of the page) is 2000 baht. A booking fee of 1000 baht to secure your reservation and a 1000 baht donation to the Monk or Ajarn.
We can accommodate one person every hour for this service.
The Temple Monk Visit Option: $4000 Baht (including minimum donation to Monk)
This is a 3-4 hour tour to a remote Temple location to visit a Monk at their own Temples. The Temple Tour Price does not includes the Monk Donation for larger or extra Sak Yants. Larger Yants, with more time or greater detail sometimes require an additional cash donation.
We provide the opportunity for 2 people being able to go on a morning tour, and 3 people being able to go in the afternoon. If you have more than one person in your booking, we offer a substantial discount for a 2nd and 3rd person.
1 Person getting a Sak Yant = 3000 baht
2 People getting a Sak Yant = 4500 baht -
3 People getting a Sak Yant = 6000 baht -
2 People (one watching) = 3500
3 People (two watching) = 4000
Monk Donation = Start 1000 baht for basic design for Male Tour option and 1500 baht for the Monk Samnak option
Sak Yant Monk or Ajarn?
Monks will only do Sak Yant Tattoos for spiritual and Noble magical intentions. If you want a Sak Yant for things like ...

You will have to select an Ajarn service for your Sak Yant.
What is a Normal Sak Yant Design?
95% of a persons first Sak Yant is one of three designs. These Sak Yants are normally smaller than 8 cm x 8 cm. The Standard 3 Sak Yants are
1) Hah Taew
2) Gao Yord
3) Paed Tidt
These 3 basic patterns can be obtained for the quoted prices - other larger and more complex Sak Yants will require additional donations to the Monks and Arjans.
